1 AN ACT in relation to certain land.
2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3 represented in the General Assembly:
4 ARTICLE 1
5 Section 1-5. Upon the payment of the sum of $12,000.00 to
6 the State of Illinois, the rights or easements of access,
7 crossing, light, air and view from, to and over the following
8 described line and FAP Route 12 (US 40) are restored subject
9 to permit requirements of the State of Illinois, Department
10 of Transportation.

12 A line in the Southeast Quarter of the Southwest Quarter
13 of Section 14, Township 5 North, Range 3 West of the
14 Third Principal Meridian, Bond County, Illinois, more
15 particularly described as follows:
16 Commencing at a stone at the south quarter corner of said
17 Section 14; thence on an assumed bearing of South 88
18 degrees 45 minutes 55 seconds West on the south line of
19 said Section 14, a distance of 700.38 feet to an iron
20 rod; thence North 01 degree 45 minutes 03 seconds West,
21 576.33 feet to an iron rod on the south right of way line
22 of old U.S. Route 40, also being the Point of Beginning.
23 From said Point of Beginning; thence North 63 degrees 47
24 minutes 57 seconds East on said right of way line, 564.92
25 feet to an iron rod, being the point of terminus.
26 Section 1-10. Upon the payment of the sum of $200.00 to
27 the State of Illinois, and subject to the conditions set
28 forth in Section 900 in this Act, the easement for highway
29 purposes acquired by the People of the State of Illinois is

15 Book 7 in the Lawrence County Recorder's Office, lying
16 North of a line being 185 feet North of and parallel to
17 the centerline of Federal Aid Interstate Route 08 (U.S.
18 Route 50), as recorded in Road Deed Book 6, Pages 208-209
19 in said Recorder's Office, more particularly described as
20 follows:
21 Commencing at Station 543+64 on the centerline of Federal

22 Section 1-900. The Secretary of Transportation shall
23 obtain a certified copy of the portions of this Act
24 containing the title, enacting clause, the effective date,
25 the appropriate Section or Sections containing the land
26 descriptions of the property to be transferred or otherwise
27 affected under this Article, and this Section within 60 days
28 after its effective date and, upon receipt of payment
29 required by the Section or Sections, if any payment is
30 required, shall record the certified document in the
31 Recorder's Office in the county which the land is located.
32 ARTICLE 2

1 Section 2-5. The Department of Natural Resources is
2 authorized to convey an easement to the owner of record of
3 the real estate described in this Section. The easement may
4 be permanent and is to provide access to the real estate and
5 shall not be for other purposes. The easement shall be
6 conveyed in such form and with such conditions as may be
7 determined by the Department to be necessary. The real
8 estate that is the subject of this Section is described as
9 follows:
10 Part of the West Half(W 1/2) of the Northeast Quarter (NE
11 1/4) of Section Numbered Two (2), Township Numbered Eight (8)
12 North, Range Numbered Six (6) West of the Third Principal
13 Meridian, described in detail as follows;
14 Commencing at an iron pin at the Northwest corner of the
15 Northeast Quarter (NE 1/4) of said Section Numbered Two (2);
16 Thence South 0 degree 29 minutes 30 seconds West along
17 the Quarter Section line one hundred twenty-six and sixty-one
18 hundredths (126.61) feet to the point of beginning. Said
19 point of beginning being located in the South line of the old
20 railroad right of way.
21 From the point of beginning South 89 degrees 21 minutes
22 24 seconds East along said right of way line thirteen hundred
23 thirty-five and seventy-six hundredths (1335.76) feet;
24 Thence South 0 degrees 29 minutes 30 seconds West eleven
25 hundred ninety-five and fifty-four hundredths (1195.54) feet;

32 Section 2-900. The Director of Natural Resources shall
33 obtain a certified copy of the portions of this Act

1 containing the title, enacting clause, the effective date,
2 the appropriate Section or Sections containing the land
3 descriptions of the property to be transferred or otherwise
4 affected under this Article, and this Section within 60 days
5 after its effective date and, upon receipt of payment
6 required by the Section or Sections, if any payment is
7 required, shall record the certified document in the
8 Recorder's Office in the county in which the land is located.

10 Section 999-5. Effective date. This Act takes effect
11 upon becoming law.
