 1        AN ACT in relation to the Supreme Court.

 2        Be it enacted by the People of  the  State  of  Illinois,
 3    represented in the General Assembly:

 4        Section  5.  The Supreme Court Building Act is amended by
 5    changing Section 8 as follows:

 6        (705 ILCS 15/8) (from Ch. 37, par. 24a)
 7        Sec. 8. After  the  completion  of  the  building  herein
 8    specified,  it shall be devoted to the uses of the Department
 9    of Justice of the State of Illinois, and be occupied  by  the
10    Supreme   Court,  the  Attorney  General,  with  his  or  her
11    assistants, the State law library, the  Appellate  Court  for
12    the  Fourth  Judicial District, and the other branches of the
13    Department of Justice of the State now existing or which  may
14    hereafter be created.
15        The  care,  custody  and  control  of  the building, when
16    completed, shall be vested in the Supreme Court.
