 1        AN ACT concerning environmental protection.

 2        Be it enacted by the People of  the  State  of  Illinois,
 3    represented in the General Assembly:

 4        Section  5.  The  Environmental Protection Act is amended
 5    by changing Section 51 as follows:

 6        (415 ILCS 5/51) (from Ch. 111 1/2, par. 1051)
 7        Sec.  51.  Severability.   If  any  Section,  subsection,
 8    sentence  or  clause  of   this   Act   shall   be   adjudged
 9    unconstitutional,  such  adjudication  shall  not  affect the
10    validity of the Act as a whole or of any Section, subsection,
11    sentence or clause thereof not adjudged unconstitutional.
