 1                    AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 2391

 2        AMENDMENT NO.     .  Amend House Bill 2391,  AS  AMENDED,
 3    with  reference  to page and line numbers of Senate Amendment
 4    No. 1, on page 2, in line 10, by changing "No" to "Except  as
 5    otherwise provided in this Section, no"; and

 6    on page 2, below line 16, by inserting the following:
 7        "(c)  Nothing  in this Act prevents a veterinarian who is
 8    employed by the  Department  of  Agriculture,  or  any  other
 9    person  who  is employed by the Department of Agriculture and
10    acting under the supervision of  such  a  veterinarian,  from
11    humanely   euthanizing   animals   in   the  course  of  that
12    employment.".
