 1                    AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 2391

 2        AMENDMENT NO.     .  Amend House Bill 2391 as follows:

 3    on page 11, after line 17, by inserting the following:
 4        "Any  veterinarian,  who  in   good   faith   administers
 5    euthanasia  drugs  to an animal in an animal control facility
 6    or an animal shelter, has immunity from any liability, civil,
 7    criminal, or otherwise, that  may  result  from  his  or  her
 8    actions.   For  the  purposes  of  any  proceedings, civil or
 9    criminal,  the  good  faith  of  the  veterinarian  shall  be
10    rebuttably presumed.".
