    AN ACT in relation to property.

    Be it enacted by the People of  the  State  of  Illinois,
represented in the General Assembly:

    (765 ILCS 5/38c rep.)
    Section  5.  The  Conveyances Act is amended by repealing
Section 38c.

    Section 99.  Effective date.  This Act takes effect  upon
becoming law.
    Passed in the General Assembly May 09, 2001.
    Approved August 02, 2001.
