1 SENATE RESOLUTION
2 WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the State of
3 Illinois were saddened to learn of the death of Robert J.
4 "Bob" Nadalini of Auburn on Saturday, December 28, 2002; and
5 WHEREAS, Mr. Nadalini was born January 9, 1931 in
6 Milwaukee to Reno and Kathryn Baschieri Nadalini; he married
7 Linda Elkins in 1956 in Auburn; and
8 WHEREAS, Mr. Nadalini served three years in the U.S.
9 Marine Corps; he was a retired Illinois State police officer
10 and had served as the supervisor of Auburn Township; he was a
11 Sangamon County board member, having served as chairman of
12 the County Liquor Commission; and
13 WHEREAS, Mr. Nadalini was involved in many civic and
14 professional organizations; he was a member of Auburn
15 American Legion Post 277, Troopers Lodge 41 FOP, Roman
16 Cultural Society, Sangamon County Township Officials
17 Association, Fraternal Order of Eagles, and Illinois
18 Association of County Board Members and Commissioners; he was
19 a life member of Fraternal Order of Police and Illinois
20 Police Association; he was a former member of the Auburn
21 School District Board of Education, Greater Springfield
22 Chamber of Commerce, and a treasurer of the Law Enforcement
23 Training Commission, Mobile Team Unit 10; and
24 WHEREAS, The passing of Bob Nadalini will be deeply felt
25 by all who knew him, especially his wife, Linda; his son,
26 Vincent (wife, Robin) Nadalini; his daughters, Valerie
27 (husband, Tod) Howarth and Chris (husband, George) Rakin; his
28 granddaughter; and several cousins; therefore, be it
29 RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SECOND GENERAL
30 ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we join with the
31 family and friends of Robert J. Nadalini in mourning the

1 death of a community leader who will long be remembered for
2 his many years of constructive influence; and be it further
3 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
4 presented to the family of Robert J. Nadalini with our
5 sincere condolences.
