1 SENATE RESOLUTION
2 WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the State of
3 Illinois were saddened to learn of the death of Anton E.
4 Urban, D.D.S., of Antioch on Monday, November 25, 2002; and
5 WHEREAS, Dr. Urban was born July 6, 1947 in Highland Park
6 to Anton W. and Beverly Jane (Morgan) Urban; he married
7 Kathryn Walker in Millburn on December 23, 1972; he had lived
8 in Lake Villa and Fox Lake prior to moving to Antioch
9 permanently in 1986; and
10 WHEREAS, He was a graduate of Antioch Community High
11 school and attended Miami Military School in Miami, Florida,
12 Southern Illinois University, the College of Lake County, and
13 Illinois State College; he earned his D.D.S. degree from
14 Northwestern University in Chicago and was president of his
15 class; and
16 WHEREAS, Dr. Urban began his dental practice in Antioch
17 in May of 1978 and had a practice with his partner, Dr.
18 Nicholas Ruggiero since 1986 in Antioch and Kenosha,
19 Wisconsin; he also had a practice of his own in Chicago until
20 1987; and
21 WHEREAS, Dr. Urban loved to fish, hunt, and ride his
22 motorcycle; he was generous with his time and to those in
23 need of his services; and
24 WHEREAS, Dr. Urban will be fondly remembered and missed
25 by all who knew him, especially his wife, Kathryn; three
26 sons, Anton W. "Tony" (Christine), Gregory J., and Joel W.; a
27 daughter, Amanda Urban; his mother, Beverly Jane Rundgren;
28 and his sister, Gail (David) Heath; his father preceded him
29 in death in 1974; therefore, be it
30 RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SECOND GENERAL
31 ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing

1 of Anton E. Urban, D.D.S. and offer our deepest sympathy to
2 his family and friends; and be it further
3 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
4 presented to the family of Anton E. Urban, D.D.S. with our
5 sincerest condolences.
