1 SENATE RESOLUTION
2 WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the State of
3 Illinois were saddened to learn of the death of Margaret
4 Austin of Beach Park on November 18, 2002 at the age of 88;
5 and
6 WHEREAS, Mrs. Austin was born February 20, 1914 in
7 Waukegan; and
8 WHEREAS, She was a member of the First Presbyterian
9 Church in Waukegan, and she belonged to the Eagles, the Women
10 of the Moose #706, and the V.F.W. Auxillary #7448 in Winthrop
11 Harbor; and
12 WHEREAS, Her passing will be deeply felt by all who knew
13 and loved her especially her daughter, Joyce (Kenneth); her
14 six grandchildren, Brenda (Glen) Merry, Linda, Donna, Mike
15 (Shannon), Pam Flores, and Kevin; her nine great
16 grandchildren with one more on the way; her sister-in-law,
17 Eileen (Roland) Lundgren; her stepdaughter, Florence Coady;
18 her stepdaughter-in-law, Barbara (Lee) Austin; and several
19 step grandchildren and great grandchildren; and
20 WHEREAS, She is preceded in death by her parents Herman
21 and Elene Lundgren; her brother, Roland Lundgren; her
22 husband, Hollis S. Austin; her son-in-law, Kenneth Tatro; her
23 grandson, Scott Tatro; and her stepson Lee Austin; therefore,
24 be it
25 RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SECOND GENERAL
26 ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the death of
27 Margaret Austin and extend our sincere condolences to all who
28 knew and loved her; and be it further
29 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
30 delivered to the family of Margaret Austin.
