1 SENATE RESOLUTION
2 WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the State of
3 Illinois were deeply saddened to learn of the tragic death of
4 Christopher Wesley Booth of Plainfield on Friday, August 16,
5 2002; and
6 WHEREAS, Christopher was born on September 29, 1998 at
7 Mercy Center in Aurora; he attended Bonnie McBeth Learning
8 Center in Plainfield; he loved horses and was involved in
9 Ready, Set, Ride which is a therapeutic recreation facility
10 that provides horseback riding opportunities to handicapped
11 individuals; and
12 WHEREAS, Christopher's personality left an indelible
13 impression, and he will be sadly missed by family and
14 friends; and
15 WHEREAS, His untimely death will be deeply felt by family
16 and friends, especially his parents, Rev. Douglas A. and
17 Christine M. Booth; his two sisters, Jessyca and Kimberly
18 Booth; his maternal grandparents, James and Louise Wieland;
19 and many aunts, uncles, and cousins; and
20 WHEREAS, He was preceded in death by his paternal
21 grandparents, Robert and Elaine Booth; therefore, be it
22 RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SECOND GENERAL
23 ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we express our most
24 sincere condolences to the family of Christopher Wesley
25 Booth, a young boy who will be truly missed; and be it
26 further
27 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
28 presented to the family of Christopher Wesley Booth as an
29 expression of our deepest sympathy.
