1 SENATE RESOLUTION
2 WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate wish to
3 express their sincerest condolences to the family and friends
4 of Amelia F. Faro of Zion, who passed away on August 4, 2002;
5 and
6 WHEREAS, Amelia Faro was born on May 22, 1926 in
7 Cincinnati, Ohio to her parents, George and Julia Robbins; a
8 resident of Zion, Mrs. Faro was a member of First Baptist
9 Church of Winthrop Harbor; for 18 years she was an aide for
10 State Senator Adeline Geo-Karis and was very active in
11 various local civic affairs; and
12 WHEREAS, The passing of Amelia Faro will be deeply felt
13 by all who knew and loved her, especially her husband of 56
14 years, Dan; her sons, Daniel (wife, Linda) Faro, David (wife,
15 JoAnn) Faro, Walter (wife, Ingrid) Faro, and Michael Faro;
16 her daughter, Cheryl (husband, Guz) Sanchez; her ten
17 grandchildren; her five great-grandchildren; her brother,
18 Walter Robbins; and her sister, Marketta Bubnich; she was
19 preceded in death by her granddaughter, Ami Faro and by her
20 father and mother, George and Julia Robbins; therefore, be it
21 RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SECOND GENERAL
22 ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with
23 all who knew her, the death of Amelia Faro of Zion, Illinois;
24 and be it further
25 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
26 presented to the family of Amelia Faro with our sincere
27 condolences.
