1 SENATE RESOLUTION
2 WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened
3 to learn of the death of Dorothy E. Mielke, who passed away
4 recently; and
5 WHEREAS, Mrs. Mielke was born December 25, 1921, to
6 George and Marion Hogan in Chicago; and
7 WHEREAS, Mrs. Mielke was a 20-year volunteer at Hinsdale
8 Hospital and a member of the New Day Center; and
9 WHEREAS, Dorothy Mielke was preceded in death by her late
10 husband William A. Mielke; her sister, Frances Constantine,
11 and a brother, George Hogan; and
12 WHEREAS, Mrs. Mielke will be deeply missed by all those
13 who knew her and loved her, especially by her sons, William
14 A. (Phyllis) Mielke, Jr. and Gary (Debbie) Mielke; her seven
15 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; her brother,
16 John (Mary) Hogan; and her sister, Patricia (Lawrence) Harsh;
17 therefore, be it
18 RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SECOND GENERAL
19 ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with
20 her family and friends, the death of Dorothy E. Mielke; and
21 be it further
22 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be sent
23 to the loving family of Dorothy E. Mielke.
