1 SENATE RESOLUTION
2 WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate wish to
3 express their sincere condolences to the family and friends
4 of Rosemary Mack of Carlinville, who passed away on December
5 13, 2001; and
6 WHEREAS, Rosemary Mack was born on February 11, 1914, in
7 Brushy Mound Township near Carlinville, to William and Mamie
8 Stengl Mack; she was a 1933 graduate of Carlinville High
9 School; and
10 WHEREAS, Rosemary Mack worked at Carlinville National
11 Bank in the accounting department, was a secretary for State
12 Farm Insurance for several years, and was a clerk for the
13 Illinois Secretary of State for 12 years, retiring in 1977;
14 and
15 WHEREAS, Rosemary Mack was a life member of Sisters of
16 Mary and Joseph Church, a past member of the Altar Society,
17 and a past member of the Business and Professional Women's
18 Club; and
19 WHEREAS, The passing of Rosemary Mack will be deeply felt
20 by all who knew and loved her, especially her brothers and
21 sister-in-law, Cornelius "Connie" and Rita Mack and John M.
22 Mack; her sisters, Florence Alma Murphy, Bernadine Stengl,
23 and Delores Mack; her 14 nieces and nephews; and several
24 great-nieces and great-nephews; therefore, be it
25 RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SECOND GENERAL
26 ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with
27 all who knew her, the death of Rosemary Mack of Carlinville,
28 Illinois; and be it further
29 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
30 presented to the family of Rosemary Mack with our sincere
31 condolences.
