1 SENATE RESOLUTION
2 WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate wish to
3 express their sincere condolences to the family and friends
4 of Michael Hartman, who passed away on September 30, 2001;
5 and
6 WHEREAS, Michael Hartman was born on March 31, 1945 in
7 Chicago, Illinois to Harold and Fay Hartman; and
8 WHEREAS, Mr. Hartman received a bachelor's degree from
9 the University of Illinois at Champaign in architecture and a
10 master's degree from the University of Wisconsin at Madison
11 in environmental design; he taught architecture at Kennedy
12 King College in Chicago and at the Art Institute of Kansas;
13 he was a member of the American Institute of Architects; and
14 WHEREAS, The passing of Michael Hartman will be deeply
15 felt by all who knew and loved him, especially his wife,
16 Donna Hartman; his children, Evianna, Wyatt, and Zachary
17 Hartman; his parents, Fay and Harold Hartman; his sister,
18 Diana (husband, Ira) Klurfield; and his nieces and nephews,
19 Jeffrey, Robert, Pamela, Dewey, and Avery Klurfield;
20 therefore, be it
21 RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SECOND GENERAL
22 ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with
23 all who knew him, the death of Michael Hartman; and be it
24 further
25 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
26 presented to the family of Michael Hartman with our sincere
27 condolences.
