1 SENATE RESOLUTION
2 WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate wish to
3 express their sincere condolences to the family and friends
4 of Wayne O. Fuchs, who passed away on June 11, 2001; and
5 WHEREAS, Wayne O. Fuchs was born on September 24, 1927 in
6 Farmersville, Illinois to Edwin O. and Linda Nobbe Fuchs; he
7 married Darlene Specht in 1951 in Harvel; and
8 WHEREAS, Mr. Fuchs was a farmer and an electrician; he
9 worked at Rural Electric Convenience Cooperative for 28
10 years, retiring in 1993; and
11 WHEREAS, Mr. Fuchs served in the United States Army
12 during the Korean War; in addition, he was a member of
13 Farmersville Zion Lutheran Church ELCA; and
14 WHEREAS, The passing of Wayne O. Fuchs will be deeply
15 felt by all who knew and loved him, especially his wife,
16 Darlene; his sons, David (wife, Jean) Fuchs, Stanley (wife,
17 Nancy) Fuchs, and Phillip (wife, Andrea) Fuchs; his
18 daughters, Christa (husband, Randy) Snyder and Kara Sue
19 (husband, Dan) Hitchings; his 16 grandchildren; his sister,
20 Evelyn (husband, Paul) Lueker; and his several nieces and
21 nephews; therefore, be it
22 RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SECOND GENERAL
23 ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with
24 all who knew him, the death of Wayne O. Fuchs of
25 Farmersville, Illinois; and be it further
26 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
27 presented to the family of Wayne O. Fuchs with our sincere
28 condolences.
