1 SENATE RESOLUTION
2 WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate wish to
3 express their sincere condolences to the family and friends
4 of Virginia B. Reuland, who passed away on June 11, 2001; and
5 WHEREAS, Virginia B. Reuland was born on January 15, 1918
6 in Aurora, Illinois to Florence and Frank Modaff; she was the
7 wife of the late Philip F. Reuland; and
8 WHEREAS, Virginia Reuland was a member of Our Lady of
9 Good Counsel Church, Sanctuary Sodality of Our Lady of Good
10 Counsel Church, Mercy Center Auxiliary, and the Legion of
11 Mary; and
12 WHEREAS, The passing of Virginia B. Reuland will be
13 deeply felt by all who knew and loved her, especially her
14 son, Timothy J. (wife, Kathleen) Reuland; her daughters,
15 Colleen (husband, Mark) Flaherty and Christine (husband, L.
16 Michael) Dohan; her grandchildren, John, Meg and Tom Reuland,
17 Michael and Anne Flaherty, and Andrew and Ellen Dohan; her
18 sisters, Bernice (husband, Joseph) Schindlbeck and Mary Jane
19 (husband, John) Doran; her sisters-in-law, Charleen Reuland
20 and Mae Reuland; and her many nieces and nephews; therefore,
21 be it
22 RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SECOND GENERAL
23 ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with
24 all who knew her, the death of Virginia B. Reuland of Aurora,
25 Illinois; and be it further
26 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
27 presented to the family of Virginia B. Reuland with our
28 sincere condolences.
