1 SENATE RESOLUTION
2 WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate wish to
3 express their sincere condolences to the family and friends
4 of Florence L. Traversino, who passed away on August 18,
5 2001; and
6 WHEREAS, Florence L. Traversino was born on March 26,
7 1917 in Rockdale, Illinois to George and Julia Molnar; she
8 was united in marriage on August 25, 1938 in Aurora, Illinois
9 to Anthony Traversino and they spent the next 63 years of
10 their lives together; and
11 WHEREAS, Mrs. Traversino was a member of St. Mary's
12 Catholic Church in Aurora and most recently had attended Our
13 Lady of Good Counsel Church in Aurora; and
14 WHEREAS, Mrs. Traversino was formerly employed for over
15 ten years by Campana in Geneva, Illinois until her
16 retirement; and
17 WHEREAS, The passing of Florence L. Traversino will be
18 deeply felt by all her knew and loved her, especially her
19 husband, Anthony Traversino; her son, Michael Traversino; her
20 grandchildren, Anthony Raymond Traversino, Tina Marie
21 (husband, David) Constant, Tammy Lorraine (husband, Patrick)
22 Geary, Michael Anthony Traversino, and Steven Victor
23 Traversino; her great-grandchildren, Danielle, Megan, and
24 Anthony Constant, and John and Jillian Geary; her brothers,
25 John (wife, Barbara) Molnar, Robert (wife, Joyce) Molnar, and
26 Louis (wife, Joleen) Molnar; her sister, Marilyn Hammans; and
27 her many nieces and nephews; therefore, be it
28 RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SECOND GENERAL
29 ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with
30 all who knew her, the death of Florence L. Traversino of
31 Aurora, Illinois; and be it further

1 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
2 presented to the family of Florence L. Traversino with our
3 sincere condolences.
