1 SENATE RESOLUTION
2 WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate wish to
3 express their sincere condolences to the family and friends
4 of Lauren N. Klespitz, who passed away on September 7, 2001;
5 and
6 WHEREAS, Lauren attended St. Rita of Cascia Catholic
7 School and was a member of Brownie/Girl Scout Troop #375 and
8 Copeland Dance Academy; and
9 WHEREAS, Lauren loved to dance and wear glitter, listen
10 to music, work on her crafts, and tell goofy jokes; Lauren
11 taught many people, especially her friends and classmates at
12 St. Rita of Cascia Catholic School, about standing tall and
13 proud in the face of adversity; and
14 WHEREAS, As a final tribute to Lauren, St. Rita of Cascia
15 Catholic School closed its doors so the students and staff
16 could attend her funeral; and
17 WHEREAS, The passing of Lauren N. Klespitz will be deeply
18 felt by all who knew and loved her, especially her parents,
19 James and Imelda Klespitz; her brother, Ian Klespitz; her
20 grandparents, Mauro and Irene Gonzalez and Magdalena
21 Klespitz; her great-grandparents, Catarino and Ramona
22 Rodriguez and Concepcion (husband, Benito) Chavez; her aunts,
23 Laura (husband, Roy) Izaguirre and Rita (husband, John)
24 Blumenshine; her uncle, Mauro (Karen Harbin) Gonzalez, Jr.;
25 her cousins, Roy and Tony Izaguirre and Tory Blumenshine; her
26 godparents, Noe and Beda Hernandez; and her special friends,
27 Andrea Forte, Taylor Watkins, and Andrea Bermes; therefore,
28 be it
29 RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SECOND GENERAL
30 ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with
31 all who knew her, the death of Lauren N. Klespitz of Aurora,

2 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
3 presented to the family of Lauren N. Klespitz with our
4 sincere condolences.
