1 SENATE RESOLUTION
2 WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate wish to
3 express their sincere condolences to the family and friends
4 of Lisa Antionette Jackson, who passed away on October 3,
5 2001; and
6 WHEREAS, Lisa Antionette Jackson was born in Buffalo, New
7 York on April 11, 1965 to Annie R. Jackson and Jimmie C.
8 Hathorne; and
9 WHEREAS, Lisa Antionette Jackson was a dedicated
10 daughter, sister and friend who took great pleasure in
11 bringing laughter to all who knew her; one of her great loves
12 was serving others which led her to accept a position with
13 the Chicago Board of Education in the Food Service
14 Department; she took great pleasure in serving children in
15 that capacity; and
16 WHEREAS, The passing of Lisa Antionette Jackson will be
17 deeply felt by all who knew and loved her, especially her
18 mother, Annie R. Jackson; her father, Jimmie C. Hathorne; her
19 brothers, Charles, Brian, and Jimmie; her sisters, Pebble and
20 Voncille; her sister-in-law, April; her nieces, Tanesha,
21 Monique, Lauren Ashley, Crysta and Alexia; her aunts, Mattie
22 Harris and Mary Normal; her uncles, Bill Borum, Charlie
23 Jackson, Evangelist Jackson and Elijah Carter; her
24 great-aunts, Theola Miller, and Bertha Bryant; her
25 great-uncle, Frank Robertson; and a host of caring relatives
26 and friends; therefore, be it
27 RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SECOND GENERAL
28 ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with
29 all who knew her, the death of Lisa Antionette Jackson of
30 Chicago, Illinois; and be it further
31 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
