1 SENATE RESOLUTION
2 WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate wish to
3 express their sincere condolences to the family and friends
4 of Jeffrey P. Mladenik of Hinsdale, Illinois, who passed away
5 on September 11, 2001 at the World Trade Center in New York;
6 and
7 WHEREAS, Jeffrey P. Mladenik was born on June 21, 1958 in
8 LaGrange. Illinois; and
9 WHEREAS, Mr. Mladenik received an associate degree in
10 business management from Morton College in 1979; he went on
11 to earn a bachelor's degree at Trinity College in 1987, a
12 master's degree in business administration from North Central
13 College in 1992, and a master of arts degree from Wheaton
14 College in 1995; he was ordained a minister by the
15 Conservative Congregational Christian Conference in 1999; and
16 WHEREAS, Mr. Mladenik was employed at E-Logic, a division
17 of Cahner's Publishing, where he served as interim president;
18 he was also the pastor of workplace ministries at Christ
19 Church in Oak Brook; and
20 WHEREAS, The passing of Jeffrey P. Mladenik will be
21 deeply felt by all who knew and loved him, especially his
22 wife of 22 years, Sue; his children, Kelly, Josh, Dan, and
23 Grace; his parents, Richard and Kathleen Mladenik; his
24 brothers, Scott (wife, Kim) Mladenik, and Mike (wife, Barb)
25 Mladenik; his father-in-law, George Stovicek; his
26 brothers-in-law, Steve and Scott Stovicek; and his many
27 friends, colleagues, and parishioners; therefore, be it
28 RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SECOND GENERAL
29 ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with
30 all who knew him, the death of Jeffrey P. Mladenik of
31 Hinsdale, Illinois; and be it further

1 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
2 presented to the family of Jeffrey P. Mladenik with our
3 sincere condolences.
