1 SENATE RESOLUTION
2 WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate wish to
3 express their sincere condolences to the family and friends
4 of Louis "Jake" Redmond, who passed away on June 7, 2001; and
5 WHEREAS, Louis Redmond was an active member of the
6 AFL-CIO and the Church of St. Mary in Lake Forest; and
7 WHEREAS, Louis Redmond served as the former vice
8 president of Alliance for the Mentally Ill and as president
9 of the Lake Forest/Lake Bluff Seniors; and
10 WHEREAS, The passing of Louis Redmond will be deeply felt
11 by all who knew and loved him, especially his wife of 60
12 years, Mary Lanzl Redmond; his children, Claudia Neyer, Louis
13 J. (wife, Karen) Redmond, Mark L. (wife, Meg) Redmond, Paul
14 J. Redmond, and Marcia A. (husband, Louis) Lehrman; his
15 grandchildren, John and Carl Neyer, Colleen D. and Elizabeth
16 M. Redmond, and Ryan R. Lehrman; his sister, Mary R.
17 Bertucci; his nephews, John L. Redmond and Alex Largo; and
18 his niece, DoraLee Swanson; therefore, be it
19 RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SECOND GENERAL
20 ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with
21 all who knew him, the death of Louis Redmond of Lake Forest,
22 Illinois; and be it further
23 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
24 presented to the family of Louis Redmond with our sincere
25 condolences.
