1 SENATE RESOLUTION
2 WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate wish to
3 express their sincere condolences to the family and friends
4 of Nello Campagni, who passed away on June 22, 2001; and
5 WHEREAS, Nello Campagni was born on November 9, 1916 in
6 Highwood, Illinois; and
7 WHEREAS, Nello Campagni was the 30-year co-owner of the
8 Bowlarium Lanes, North Chicago and was the top amateur golfer
9 in the North Shore area; and
10 WHEREAS, Nello Campagni was a member of the Highland Park
11 Loyal Order of Moose and the Knights of Columbus; and
12 WHEREAS, The passing of Nello Campagni will be deeply
13 felt by all who knew and loved him, especially his wife,
14 Marie; his son, Richard (wife, Mary) Campagni; his
15 son-in-law, Marvin (wife, Sue) Baker; his grandchildren,
16 Susie (husband, Paul) Saliba, Patti (husband, George)
17 Norberg, Doug Baker, Gregg (wife, Teresa) Campagni, Brenda
18 (husband, Tim) Milligan, Jeff Campagni, and Nicole Campagni;
19 his great grandchildren, Nicholas, Samantha, Sophia, Anthony,
20 Dylan, Ashton, and Chase; his sister, Angie Ugaste; his
21 sister-in-law, Lucille Campagni; and his many nieces and
22 nephews; he was preceded in death by his daughter, Beverly
23 Baker, his brother, Julio Campagni, and his brother-in-law,
24 John Ugaste; therefore, be it
25 RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SECOND GENERAL
26 ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with
27 all who knew him, the death of Nello Campagni of Highwood,
28 Illinois; and be it further
29 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
30 presented to the family of Nello Campagni with our sincere
31 condolences.
