 1               AMENDMENT TO SENATE JOINT RESOLUTION 35

 2        AMENDMENT NO.     .  Amend Senate Joint Resolution 35  on
 3    page 2 by inserting immediately below line 5 the following:

 4        "WHEREAS,  Illinois  must  work to ensure that sufficient
 5    nitrogen  oxide  emission  credits  are  available  for   new
 6    electricity  generating  sources that will utilize clean coal
 7    technologies; and".
