 1                    AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 1949

 2        AMENDMENT NO.     .  Amend Senate Bill 1949, on  page  1,
 3    line  14,  after  "adult", by inserting ", except in a county
 4    that has a population exceeding 3,000,000 people,"; and

 5    on page 2, line 28, by replacing  "The"  with  "Except  in  a
 6    county  that  has  a  population  exceeding 3,000,000 people,
 7    the"; and

 8    on page 4, after line 8 by inserting the following:

 9        "This subsection (l) does not apply in counties where the
10    population exceeds 3,000,000 persons.".
