 1                    AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 989

 2        AMENDMENT NO. _______.  Amend Senate Bill 989, on page 1,
 3    line 14, immediately  after  the  period,  by  inserting  the
 4    following:
 5    "If an agreement concerning a joint insurance pool under this
 6    Act  requires  a member to submit written notice in order for
 7    the member to withdraw from the joint  insurance  pool,  then
 8    the  period  in  which  the  member  must provide the written
 9    notice cannot be greater than 90 days.".
