 1                    AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 879

 2        AMENDMENT NO.     .  Amend Senate Bill 879 on page  1  by
 3    replacing lines 7 and 8 with the following:
 4        "(a)  Except as otherwise permitted or authorized by law,
 5    it"; and

 6    on page 1 by replacing line 14 with the following:
 7    "insurer.   Nothing  in this Act shall be construed to affect
 8    any contracts  or  arrangements  between  or  among  insuring
 9    entities  including  health maintenance organizations, health
10    care professionals,  or  health  care  facilities  which  are
11    hereby excluded.".
