1 AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 729
2 AMENDMENT NO. . Amend Senate Bill 729 on page 19,
3 line 4, after the period, by inserting the following:
4 "For purposes of the alternative incremental credit, "base
5 amount", "basic research payment", and "qualified research
6 expense" mean the same as defined for the federal credit for
7 increasing research activities under Section 41 of the
8 Internal Revenue Code, except that for the alternative
9 incremental credit such amounts are for activities conducted
10 within the State of Illinois.".
