 1                    AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 629

 2        AMENDMENT NO.     .  Amend Senate Bill 629 as follows:
 3    on page 3, line  21,  after  the  period,  by  inserting  the
 4    following:
 5    "Any  veterinarian,  who  in  good  faith  complies  with the
 6    requirements  of  this  subsection  has  immunity  from   any
 7    liability,  civil,  criminal,  or  otherwise, that may result
 8    from  his  or  her  actions.   For  the   purposes   of   any
 9    proceedings,  civil  or  criminal,  the  good  faith  of  the
10    veterinarian shall be rebuttably presumed.".
