 1                    AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 397

 2        AMENDMENT NO.     .  Amend Senate Bill 397,  AS  AMENDED,
 3    as follows:

 4    in Sec. 3.2 of Section 5, by changing "must report" to "shall
 5    report"; and

 6    in  Sec.  3.2  of  Section  5,  by  inserting after "3.1" the
 7    following:

 8    "; however, if a disqualification is based on the  fact  that
 9    the  person's Firearm Owner's Identification Card has expired
10    or been cancelled, the person's name and address shall not be
11    reported unless the Department of  State  Police  deems  that
12    reporting the person's name and address is appropriate".
