 1                    AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 373

 2        AMENDMENT NO.     .  Amend Senate Bill 373 on page 1,  by
 3    replacing line 1 with the following:
 4        "AN ACT concerning children."; and

 5    on  page  6,  immediately  below  line  11,  by inserting the
 6    following:

 7        "Section 10.  The Department of State Police Law  of  the
 8    Civil  Administrative  Code  of Illinois is amended by adding
 9    Section 2605-480 as follows:

10        (20 ILCS 2605/2605-480 new)
11        Sec. 2605-480.  Statewide kidnapping alert program.   The
12    Department  of  State  Police  shall  develop  a  coordinated
13    program  for  a statewide emergency alert system when a child
14    is missing or kidnapped.".
