1 AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 285
2 AMENDMENT NO. . Amend Senate Bill 285 by replacing
3 everything after the enacting clause with the following:
4 "Section 5. The Private Detective, Private Alarm,
5 Private Security, and Locksmith Act of 1993 is amended by
6 changing Section 135 as follows:
7 (225 ILCS 446/135)
8 Sec. 135. Temporary suspension. The Director may
9 temporarily suspend a license licensee without a hearing,
10 simultaneously with the initiation of proceedings for a
11 hearing provided for in Section 130 of this Act, if the
12 Director finds that evidence in his or her possession
13 indicates that a licensee's continuation in practice would
14 constitute an imminent danger to the public. If the Director
15 temporarily suspends the license of a licensee without a
16 hearing, a hearing by the Board shall be held within 30 days
17 after the suspension has occurred.
