 1                          HOUSE RESOLUTION

 2        WHEREAS, It has come to the attention  of  the  House  of
 3    Representatives  that  Albert Gooday III is retiring after 35
 4    years of exemplary service at Esmond School; and

 5        WHEREAS, Mr. Gooday  was  the  first  teacher  at  Esmond
 6    School  to  earn  a  mathematics  endorsement; he had perfect
 7    attendance for many years of his career and was a coordinator
 8    for math-down competitions; and

 9        WHEREAS, He is the recipient of the "Teacher of the Year"
10    and "Esmond Heroes" awards; he is a coordinator for  the  Big
11    Brother/Big  Sister  Bowling Team; he has held positions such
12    as department chairperson and alternate union delegate; and

13        WHEREAS, He leaves behind a legacy of service  excellence
14    and many students who have excelled in mathematics due to his
15    teachings; therefore, be it

16        RESOLVED,   BY   THE  HOUSE  OF  REPRESENTATIVES  OF  THE
17    NINETY-SECOND GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that
18    we congratulate Albert Gooday  III  on  his  retirement  from
19    Esmond  School and thank him for many years of leadership and
20    inspiration for the students; and be it further

21        RESOLVED, That a suitable  copy  of  this  resolution  be
22    presented  to  Albert  Gooday  III  as  an  expression of our
23    respect and esteem.
