 1                          HOUSE RESOLUTION

 2        WHEREAS,  The  members   of   the   Illinois   House   of
 3    Representatives  wish to express their sincere condolences to
 4    the family and friends of Delores Morris, who passed away  on
 5    May 15, 2001; and

 6        WHEREAS,  Delores  Morris  was born on August 20, 1954 in
 7    Cleveland, Mississippi; she moved  to  Maywood,  Illinois  in
 8    1965 and was a graduate of Proviso East High School; she also
 9    studied nursing and real estate; and

10        WHEREAS,  Delores  Morris  was  a member of the Broadview
11    Baptist Church where she served on the chapel  choir  and  as
12    one of the church's photographers; and

13        WHEREAS,  The  passing  of  Delores Morris will be deeply
14    felt by all who knew and loved her, especially  her  husband,
15    Foraker  Morris;  her  son,  Allon; her four sisters; her two
16    brothers; and her many dear friends; therefore, be it

17        RESOLVED,  BY  THE  HOUSE  OF  REPRESENTATIVES   OF   THE
18    NINETY-SECOND GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that
19    we  mourn,  along with all who knew her, the death of Delores
20    Morris of Maywood, Illinois; and be it further

21        RESOLVED, That a suitable  copy  of  this  resolution  be
22    presented  to  the  family of Delores Morris with our sincere
23    condolences.
