 1                          HOUSE RESOLUTION

 2        WHEREAS,  The  members   of   the   Illinois   House   of
 3    Representatives  are pleased to recognize outstanding efforts
 4    of the citizens of the State of Illinois; and

 5        WHEREAS, Mary Tewell has worked at Prairie School for the
 6    past 16  years;  she  served  for  10  years  as  a  teaching
 7    assistant  in  the  ASSIST  program  and  for  6 years in the
 8    office; and

 9        WHEREAS, Mary Tewell grew up as the only girl in a family
10    of six children in  Forrest,  Illinois;  she  graduated  from
11    Parkland College; and

12        WHEREAS,  Mary  Tewell  enjoys  the students and staff at
13    Prairie School; she spends time mentoring  the  students  and
14    sponsors the student council; and

15        WHEREAS,  In  her  free  time, Mary Tewell likes to spend
16    time  outdoors,  read,  walk,  and  spend   time   with   her
17    three-year-old daughter; and

18        WHEREAS, Mary Tewell serves as an inspiration to students
19    and  staff  for her dedication and loyalty to Prairie School;
20    therefore, be it

21        RESOLVED,  BY  THE  HOUSE  OF  REPRESENTATIVES   OF   THE
22    NINETY-SECOND GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that
23    we congratulate Mary Tewell for her dedication and service to
24    the students and staff at Prairie School; and be it further

25        RESOLVED,  That  a  suitable  copy  of this resolution be
26    presented to Mary Tewell as an expression of our esteem.
