1 HOUSE RESOLUTION
2 WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of
3 Representatives wish to congratulate the St. Michael Varsity
4 (7th and 8th Grade) Cheerleaders, who won the 2001 Jr. High
5 Illinois State Cheerleading Championship on March 10, 2001;
6 and
7 WHEREAS, St. Michael Jr. High School is located in Orland
8 Park, Illinois; and
9 WHEREAS, The young women of St. Michael Jr. High School
10 impressed the crowd gathered at the Prairie Capitol
11 Convention Center in Springfield with their high-flying
12 acrobatics, tumbling, stunting, and dance; and
13 WHEREAS, The team are also the Jr. High Kings Island
14 Champs, the Jr. High Great America Champs, the CYO Catholic
15 League Champs, for the seventh year in a row, and Windy City
16 Navy Pier Champs; and
17 WHEREAS, The St. Michael team consists of: Jerrica
18 Adeszko, Laura DeBiasio, Allison Donenberg, Chelsea Fahey
19 (Captain), Crista Henry, Heidi Hoffman, K.C. Hurley
20 (Captain), Michelle Koszulinski, Kristi LaMorte, Kristin
21 McNellis, Lauren Novorita, Allison Restko, Torrey Szofer
22 (Captain), Alex Wichmann, Bridget Wichmann, Michelle Wrona,
23 Lori Yarmoska, and Melissa Zeilner; the team coach is Becky
24 Weslow; therefore, be it
25 RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE
26 NINETY-SECOND GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that
27 we congratulate the 2001 Jr. High Illinois State Cheerleading
28 Champions from St. Michael Junior High School in Orland Park;
29 and be it further
30 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
31 presented to the St. Michael Jr. High School Varsity
