 1               AMENDMENT TO HOUSE JOINT RESOLUTION 15

 2        AMENDMENT NO.     .  Amend House Joint Resolution  15  on
 3    page 1, line 1, by deleting "JOINT"; and

 4    on  page  1,  immediately  below  line  16,  by inserting the
 5    following:

 6        "WHEREAS, Urban inner city schools  have  a  demonstrated
 7    need   for   qualified   personnel   and   role   models  for
 8    African-American youth; and"; and

 9    on  page  1,  lines  23  and  24,  by  deleting  "THE  SENATE
10    CONCURRING HEREIN,"; and

11    on page 1, line 27, before "2" by inserting "and"; and

12    on page 1, by replacing lines 29 through 31 with "House,  all
13    of whom shall serve"; and

14    on  page  2, line 6, after "nations", by inserting "and urban
15    inner city schools in this State".
