1 AN ACT making appropriations.
2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3 represented in the General Assembly:
4 ARTICLE 1
5 Section 1. The following named sums, or so much thereof
6 as may be necessary, respectively, for the objects and
7 purposes hereinafter named, are appropriated to meet the
8 ordinary and contingent expenses of the Department of Labor:

6 ordinary and contingent expenses of the Department of Labor:

23 The sum of $23,300, or so much thereof as may be
24 necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund to
25 the Department of Labor for all costs associated with the
26 Workplace Initiative for Safe Employment.
27 Section 5. The following named sums, or so much thereof
28 as may be necessary, respectively, for the objects and
29 purposes hereinafter named, are appropriated to meet the
30 ordinary and contingent expenses of the Department of Labor:

19 Section 6. In addition to any other funds appropriated
20 for that purpose, the sum of $203,800 is appropriated from
21 the General Revenue Fund to the Department of Labor for all
22 costs associated with conducting the study mandated by P.A.
23 87-405, regarding the employment progress of women and
24 minorities.
25 Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect on
26 July 1, 2002.
