 1                    AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 4939

 2        AMENDMENT NO.     .  Amend House Bill 4939 as follows:

 3    by replacing everything after the enacting  clause  with  the
 4    following:

 5        "Section  5.  The  Conveyances  Act  is amended by adding
 6    Section 11.1 as follows:

 7        (765 ILCS 5/11.1 new)
 8        Sec.  11.1.  Recording  of  liens  on  residential   real
 9    estate.".
