 1                    AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 4897

 2        AMENDMENT NO.     .  Amend House Bill 4897  by  replacing
 3    the title with the following:
 4        "AN ACT concerning display of the American flag."; and

 5    by  replacing  everything  after the enacting clause with the
 6    following:

 7        "Section 1. Short title. This Act may  be  cited  as  the
 8    Freedom to Be a Patriot Act.

 9        Section  5.   Display at State buildings.  Display of the
10    flag of the United  States  may  not  be  prohibited  at  any
11    building  owned, leased, or otherwise controlled by the State
12    of Illinois.".
