 1                    AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 4042

 2        AMENDMENT NO.     . Amend House Bill 4042 on page  3,  by
 3    replacing lines 11 through 14 with the following:
 4    "gambling  on the Mississippi River or in a municipality that
 5    (1) borders on the Mississippi River or is within 5 miles  of
 6    the  city  limits  of  a  municipality  that  borders  on the
 7    Mississippi River and (2), on  the  effective  date  of  this
 8    amendatory  Act of the 92nd General Assembly, has a riverboat
 9    conducting  riverboat  gambling  operations  pursuant  to   a
10    license  issued  under this Act, one of which shall authorize
11    riverboat".
