 1                    AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 3773

 2        AMENDMENT NO.     .  Amend House Bill  3773  on  page  1,
 3    line 18, by deleting "a non-profit cemetery or"; and

 4    on  page  1,  line  19,  after  the  period  by inserting the
 5    following:
 6    "The board of trustees of any township may appropriate  funds
 7    from  the township treasury to be used for the maintenance of
 8    non-profit cemeteries, but not  for  religious  or  sectarian
 9    purposes."; and

10    on page 1, below line 20, by inserting the following:

11        "Section  97.   Severability.  The provisions of this Act
12    are  severable  under  Section  1.31  of   the   Statute   on
13    Statutes.".
