1 AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 3515
2 AMENDMENT NO. . Amend House Bill 3515, by deleting
3 everything after the enacting clause and inserting in lieu
4 thereof the following:
5 "Section 1. The following named amounts, or so much
6 thereof as may be necessary, respectively, for the objects
7 and purposes hereinafter named, are appropriated from the
8 Dram Shop Fund to the Liquor Control Commission:

13 Employees' Retirement System ................ 208,400

4 Section 3. The amount of $300,000, or so much thereof as
5 may be necessary, is appropriated from the Dram Shop Fund to
6 the Liquor Control Commission to conduct a study to determine
7 the extent of enforcement of laws relating to access by
8 minors to tobacco products.
9 Section 4. The sum of $150,000, or so much thereof as
10 may be necessary, is appropriated from the Tobacco Settlement
11 Recovery Fund to the Liquor Control Commission for the
12 purpose of operating the local government tobacco enforcement
13 grant program.
14 Section 5. The sum of $1,000,000, or so much thereof as
15 may be necessary, is appropriated from the Tobacco Settlement
16 Recovery Fund to the Liquor Control Commission for grants to
17 local governmental units to establish enforcement programs
18 that will reduce youth access to tobacco products.
19 Section 6. The following amounts, or so much thereof as
20 may be necessary, respectively, are appropriated for the
21 Retailer Education Program from the Dram Shop Fund to the
22 Liquor Control Commission, for the objects and purposes
23 hereinafter named:

28 Employees' Retirement System ................ 9,400

10 Section 7. The sum of $133,000, or so much thereof as
11 may be necessary, is appropriated from the Dram Shop Fund to
12 the Liquor Control Commission for the purpose of enforcing
13 the Illinois Wine and Spirits Industry Fair Dealing Act of
14 1999.
15 Section 8. The sum of $630,000, or so much thereof as
16 may be necessary, is appropriated from the Dram Shop Fund to
17 the Liquor Control Commission for the purpose of operating
18 the Beverage Alcohol Sellers and Servers Education and
19 Training (BASSET) Program.
20 Section 9. In addition to any other amount appropriated,
21 the sum of $350,000, or so much thereof as may be necessary,
22 is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund to the Illinois
23 Liquor Control Commission for the continuation of a statewide
24 tobacco inspection program.
25 Section 999. Effective date. This Act takes effect July
26 1, 2001."
