 1                    AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 3458

 2        AMENDMENT NO.     .  Amend House Bill 3458,  by  deleting
 3    everything  afterthe  enacting  clause  and inserting in lieu
 4    thereof the following:

 5        "Section 1.  The sum of $27,324,300, or so  much  thereof
 6    as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue
 7    Fund  for  payment  to  the Board of the Comprehensive Health
 8    Insurance Plan pursuant to subsection (b) of  Section  12  of
 9    the Comprehensive Health Insurance Plan Act.

10        Section 999.  Effective date.  This Act takes effect July
11    1, 2001.".
