1 AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 3454
2 AMENDMENT NO. . Amend House Bill 3454, by deleting
3 everything after the enacting clause and inserting in lieu
4 thereof the following:
5 "ARTICLE 20
6 Section 1. The following named amounts, or so much
7 thereof as may be necessary, respectively, for the objects
8 and purposes hereinafter named, are appropriated from the
9 General Revenue Fund for the ordinary and contingent expenses
10 of the Bureau of the Budget in the Executive Office of the
11 Governor:

14 For Employee Retirement Contributions
15 Paid by Employer ............................. 96,000
16 For State Contributions to the State
17 Employees' Retirement System ................ 238,600
18 For State Contributions to

5 Total $3,226,000
6 Section 2. The amount of $1,000,000, or so much thereof
7 as may be necessary, is appropriated from the Capital
8 Development Fund to the Bureau of the Budget for ordinary and
9 contingent expenses associated with the sale and
10 administration of General Obligation bonds.
11 Section 3. The amount of $425,000, or so much thereof as
12 may be necessary, is appropriated from the Build Illinois
13 Bond Fund to the Bureau of the Budget for ordinary and
14 contingent expenses associated with the sale and
15 administration of Build Illinois bonds.
16 Section 4. The amount of $253,000,000, or so much
17 thereof as may be necessary, is appropriated from the Build
18 Illinois Bond Retirement and Interest Fund to the Bureau of
19 the Budget for the purpose of making payments to the Trustee
20 under the Master Indenture as defined by and pursuant to the
21 Build Illinois Bond Act.
22 Section 5. No contract shall be entered into or
23 obligation incurred for any expenditures from the
24 appropriations made in Sections 2, 3, and 4 until after the
25 purposes and amounts have been approved in writing by the
26 Governor.
27 Section 999. Effective date. This Act takes effect July
28 1, 2001.".
