1 AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 3449
2 AMENDMENT NO. . Amend House Bill 3449, by deleting
3 everything after the enacting clause and inserting in lieu
4 thereof the following:
5 "Section 1. The following named amounts, or so much
6 thereof as may be necessary, respectively, for the objects
7 and purposes hereinafter named, are appropriated from the
8 Horse Racing Fund for the ordinary and contingent expenses of
9 the Illinois Racing Board:

14 Section 3. The sum of $10,000,000, or so much thereof as
15 may be necessary, is appropriated from the Horse Racing
16 Equity Fund to the Illinois Racing Board for grants pursuant
17 to the Illinois Horse Racing Act of 1975, Section 54,
18 Subparagraph b(2).
19 Section 999. Effective date. This Act takes effect July
20 1, 2001.".
