1 AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 3403
2 AMENDMENT NO. . Amend House Bill 3403, by deleting
3 everything after the enacting clause and inserting in lieu
4 thereof the following:
5 "Section 5. The following named amounts, or so much of
6 those amounts as may be necessary, respectively, are
7 appropriated to the Auditor General to meet the ordinary and
8 contingent expenses of the Office of the Auditor General, as
9 provided in the Illinois State Auditing Act:

2 Section 10. The sum of $11,987,300, or so much of that
3 amount as may be necessary, is appropriated to the Auditor
4 General from the Audit Expense Fund for audits, studies, and
5 investigations.
6 Section 999. Effective date. This Act takes effect July
7 1, 2001.".
