 1        AN ACT in relation to historic preservation.

 2        Be it enacted by the People of  the  State  of  Illinois,
 3    represented in the General Assembly:

 4        (20 ILCS 3425/6 rep.)
 5        Section  5.  The  State Historical Library Act is amended
 6    by repealing Section 6.

 7        Section 99.  Effective date.  This Act  takes  effect  on
 8    July 1, 2001.
