 1                    AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 3288

 2        AMENDMENT NO.     .  Amend House Bill 3288  by  replacing
 3    the title with the following:
 4        "AN ACT in relation to taxes."; and

 5    by  replacing  everything  after the enacting clause with the
 6    following:

 7        "Section 5.  The Illinois Income Tax Act  is  amended  by
 8    changing Section 101 as follows:

 9        (35 ILCS 5/101) (from Ch. 120, par. 1-101)
10        Sec.  101.  Short title.  This Act shall be known and may
11    be cited as the "Illinois Income Tax Act."
