 1                    AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 3188

 2        AMENDMENT NO.     .  Amend House Bill 3188  by  replacing
 3    everything after the enacting clause with the following:

 4        "Section  5.  The  Code  of Civil Procedure is amended by
 5    changing Section 7-103.1 as follows:

 6        (735 ILCS 5/7-103.1)
 7        Sec. 7-103.1.  Quick-take; highway  purposes.  Quick-take
 8    proceedings  under  Section 7-103 may be used by the State of
 9    Illinois, the Illinois Toll  Highway  Authority  or  the  St.
10    Louis Metropolitan Area Airport Authority for the acquisition
11    of land or interests in land therein for highway purposes.
