1 AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 3080
2 AMENDMENT NO. . Amend House Bill 3080, AS AMENDED,
3 in Section 5, Sec. 6.5, at the end of subsection (c), by
4 inserting the following:
5 "A TRS dependent beneficiary who is an unmarried child
6 age 19 or over and mentally or physically handicapped does
7 not become ineligible to participate by reason of (i)
8 becoming ineligible to be claimed as a dependent for Illinois
9 or federal income tax purposes or (ii) receiving earned
10 income, so long as those earnings are insufficient for the
11 child to be fully self-sufficient.".
